Letter from the editor

You wouldn’t believe just how difficult it is to write one of these letters, especially for a new magazine. You’d think that after all the thought, the months of hard work, and the weeks of sleepless nights would leave a clear manuscript in your head just waiting to pour into the word processor. After all, it is the first issue; it should be a momentous occasion. Sorry to say, I had nothing. Then a thought came to mind; perhaps all I need to say is “welcome.” Like inviting friends into a new house, you want your guests to feel welcome. So here it goes. Welcome to the very first issue of Alternative Coordinates! This is just the first of many issues to come. In the future there are plans to expand and offer other types of content such as audio stories, videos, free stories, allow readers to vote on their favorite stories, a blog, art contests, comics, cartoons and more. I hope you’ll drop by often. Either by creating an account or signing up for Updates, you can stay informed about Alternative Coordinates through our email newsletter.
